Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline has a 1 mile hike that leads the visitor to the historic Makapuu lighthouse. During the hike you will see beautiful panoramic views of the southeastern O'ahu coastline. Whale sightings are common. The state shoreline offers no amenities so be sure to pack supplies.
Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline is located off Kalaniana'ole Highway (Hwy. 72) from either Waimanalo or Hawai'i Kai.
